Doing a kindness no matter how small can make someone's day. I love to give encouraging notes to complete strangers. Whenever I go out to eat, I leave a personal hand written note to say thank you for the service or to say how I enjoyed my meal. This is in addition to the tip. I carry a small bundle of blank cards and envelopes in my purse at all times. This gesture takes only a few seconds and can make a HUGE difference in some one's day.
